I design landscapes for a living, and Randy’s work is truly amazing. From his flat work in flagstone to his vertical work with quartzite stone walls, there is no one better in the stonemasonry field in the Tampa Bay area. Nelson Stoneworks did a fantastic job for us in the redesign of our garden area with a variety of beautiful additions including a stone retaining wall, flagstone path and patio plus a unique and beautiful stone bench, carved planter and birdbath. We were thrilled with the beauty, artistic quality and craftsmanship of the work, and all the elements have added tremendously to our garden. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the finished product and working with Randy and the Nelson Stoneworks team was a pleasure from start to finish. Fantastic job!

 

In addition to your obvious emphasis on and concern for quality and the overall aesthetic, we particularly appreciate the fact that your team members all showed up when they said they would, all coordinated smoothly with each other and all completed their work in a timely manner. In other words, everyone involved made a commitment to a schedule and delivered accordingly. It doesn't get any better than that!

 

Thank you again for the fine work you did at our home. We couldn’t be happier with both the main garden walkways and the smaller area on the side. We’re very pleased with the color choices and glad we went with your suggestion to use gray/blue stones in the smaller area. Both areas look great and “work” well.

It has been several months since you implemented the extensive hardscape for our new home and we continue to be very pleased with both the cosmetic appeal and the very functional structures you created.

As you recall, we were required to use dry river beds on both sides of our home to provide containment of any rainwater runoff created by the footprint of our construction. In addition we had step downs, a large deck, and a waterfall/pond area that had to be incorporated into these hardscape features. We cannot thank you and your team enough for all the long hours of very hard labor and the obvious expertise that you provided.

Having dealt with many subcontractors during the almost two year project, it was truly a pleasure to work with Nelson Stoneworks. Realiability and pride of workmanship are rare and treasured assets and you and your company brought that and more to the job.
